How to Enable Windows Copilot for Windows 10?

Good News! for Windows 10 users because Microsoft released a new Windows Copilot for Windows 10 in the release preview channel build 19045.3757 under KB5032278. Finally, my latest tweet about this was true.

But Copilot for Windows 10 is not available for every Windows 10 user because it is hidden by default in the release preview channel. In this guide, I will show you how to enable Windows copilot for Windows 10.

What is Windows 10 Copilot?

Copilot is a new AI-powered assistant that is designed to help you be more productive on your PC. It can help you with tasks such as writing, editing, and summarising text, as well as navigating and interacting with apps.

Microsoft limited this Copilot AI assistance to a small number of actions because it is still in development mode so it can perform the below actions

Change to dark mode.
Turn on Do Not Disturb.
Start focus session.
Open System Apps.
Take a screenshot.
Summarize this website (Active tab in Microsoft Edge)
Write a story about a dog who lives on the moon.
Make me a picture of a serene koi fishpond with lily pads.

This first preview focuses on our integrated UI experience, with additional functionality coming in future Windows 10 updates.

To use Copilot AI you have to be in the latest Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3754 (KB5032278) to the Release Preview Channel, and updated Microsoft Edge.

To get started, just click on the new button on the taskbar (or WIN + C) to launch Copilot.

How to Enable Windows Colipot for Windows 10?

Go to GitHub and Download ViVeTool Latest Version ZIP file and Extract it.
Copy the complete path from the address bar where you extracted that file see the screenshot.
Open CMD as Administrator and navigate to this path by typing cd “your path” EX: cd C:\Users\TechSanjeet\Downloads\ViveTool and press Enter key.
To enable copilot ai copy and paste this command

vivetool /enable /id:46686174,47530616,44755019
```
Hit the ENTER key and restart your computer.
Now open Registry Editor as Administrator.
Copy this Registry path and paste it on the registry editor address bar “Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Copilot\BingChat“
You will see a key “IsUserEligible” on the right side double click modify it and set its value from 0 to 1.
Now Right-Click on the taskbar you will see an option “Show Copilot (preview) button” Select it to enable Copilot on the TaskBar.
